Round 2, with the client:
After reviewing the design with the developer, a few modifications were made. Overlays needed to be ditched and elements relying on hide/show functions when switching from desktop to mobile would have to be put on hold due to time constraints.
The client approved the redesign, but wasn’t content with the bright red accents and logo type — the logo and shade of red were being used in current campaigns and the intent was to switch out the color seasonally to match the look of new campaigns. They also felt it was a little flat and requested more texture. I wasn’t fully on board with the featured story layout and the background appeared a little too pink on some screens, so I made edits there as well.
